Our team is currently undertaking a specialist coatings and preparation project at the Information Technology Lab (ITL), located within Queen Mary University of London.

The scope of work involves the application of Zinsser AllCoat to one of the newly installed rib decks, as a preparatory phase ahead of the intumescent coating process for the exposed structural steel frame. This coating ensures a clean, durable, and compatible surface, essential for the proper adhesion and long-term performance of the intumescent fire protection system.

Following the coatings application, the next phase will include the installation of exposed mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, which will be fully coordinated to integrate with the architectural and fire protection elements of the space.

This job forms a key part of the refurbishment and upgrade works at ITL, ensuring compliance with safety standards while supporting the creation of a modern, functional, and visually integrated research environment.
